The
conventional contract is for clients who know what they want.
This is where the project will blend into the existing construction
in such a way as to look as if it were built with the original
structure. Also, the client, with a minimal of drawings, can understand
what we are building and what it will look like when finished.

The
second type of contract is the design/build. The design/build
contract requires a site visit to set a budget. Then, once the
budget is decided upon, a retainer is submitted to design the
project to the budget. If the project design is within the budget,
a work schedule will be set and a start date will be provided.
Should changes be made that increase the budget the increased
cost must be agreed upon by the owner.
